Over the next year or so, I'll be blogging about my Journey through the By Referral Only ® Realtor coaching and development program.
Today, as I start this blog, I am a confident, compassionate part-time Real Estate Consultant serving the greater Sacramento, CA market. At the same time, by most accounts, I'm also a successful, respected and well-paid programmer providing my family with a fairly comfortable lifestyle. Most days I enjoy my day job, but I have a strong, deep-rooted instinct I'm meant for something more.
As a Real Estate Consultant, I'm able to build close, personal relationships with my clients that afford me an overwhelming sense of personal satisfacation in knowing I'm helping them achieve their dreams.
Over the next 12-18 months, I've made a personal commitment to learn and employ the principals, systems and behavior models the By Referral Only ® program teaches. At the end of this journey, I hope to find myself at one of life's major cross-roads where I decide whether or not to leave my safe, stable programming position for an opportunity whose potential is only limited by the effort I choose to put into it.
I hope by sharing my experiences with the By Referral Only ® program, they may eventually help others who are considering a similar moves in their own lives.
